See vintage behind-the-scenes 'Back to the Future Part III' footage

Great Scott! A neighbor who lived next to the Southern California home that served as Marty McFly's "Back to the Future" house grabbed a camcorder and shot footage of the third movie being filmed.

That means some fun bits of "BTTF" nostalgia are starting to re-emerge, like this video posted in April of 2013 that shows behind-the-scenes footage from the set of 1990's "Back to the Future Part III." The video made its way onto Reddit on Monday.

An unidentified neighbor who lived next to the home in Arleta, California, that served as the McFly homestead for all three movies saw director Robert Zemeckis' crew shooting one of the final scenes of the movie when Marty returns from the 1885 version of Hill Valley.

So the neighbor grabbed a video camera and started shooting her own footage through the kitchen window, capturing Michael J. Fox in his 1885 outfit and Lea Thompson as Marty's new and improved mom performing in scenes for the movie and interacting with fans.

The footage comes from the YouTube channel of Robert Moseley, owner of the movie prop and car-building business Bob's Prop Shop in Dallas that serves as the setting for the Reelz Channel reality show "Screen Machines." He writes in the video's description that he obtained the tape in March of 2013 during a visit to Marty's house.

Just imagine what it would be like to watch this video 30 years from now instead of right now in 2015. I'm sure we'd all get a good laugh seeing cars that don't fly or camera operators filming movies with actual film and equipment that hasn't been implanted in their eyes.
