New 'Rogue One' clip shows off Jyn Erso's fighting skills

Watch Jyn Erso take on a crowd of Stormtroopers who go down like a bunch of Imperial bowling pins in this new footage from the upcoming "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

Not only are Stormtroopers notoriously bad shots, but those helmets don't do them any favors in hand-to-hand combat, according to a new clip from the upcoming "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

The video, which debuted on Thursday night's "Tonight Show," shows Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) surrounded by Stormtroopers, who get an unexpected beatdown with her baton.

The best part of the scene happens to be Capt. Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) expressing his surprise that Jyn didn't need his help.

There's also a bit of comedy when Jyn spins around to shoot an Imperial security droid with her blaster only to fearshe might have accidentally hit Cassian's best friend and droid K-2SO.

"Did you know that wasn't me?" a quizzical K-2SO (voiced by Alan Tudyk) asks her.

While moments of this same fight scene have shown up in a few of the trailers, this is the first time we've seen Andor's shocked reaction to Jyn's impressive combat skills -- and K-2SO's comic relief.

During her "Tonight Show" appearance, Jones also gave host Jimmy Fallon a demo of her baton fighting skills -- with hilarious results.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is scheduled to hit theaters on December 15 in Australia, and December 16 in the US and UK.
