The Recording Industry Association of America appears to be planning a new crackdown on campus music-swapping. No details yet, but the group has scheduled a conference call for noon Tuesday focused on an "emerging piracy threat on college campuses."

The RIAA has focused on campuses before, with lawsuits directed at on-campus peer to peer networks, and copyright education programs around the country. In several of its last broad rounds of suits against file-swappers, it has highlighted the university components, even if they have been a relatively small percentage of overall cases filed.
