How would Taylor Swift's music translate on Tatooine? Could the Rolling Stones sell records on Dagobah? UK hi-fi and home cinema retailer Superfi decided to try to answer that question with a series of images depicting some of the best musical albums as they'd appear in the "Star Wars" universe.
Superfi took the band names, titles and album covers for top albums like ABBA's "Gold: Greatest Hits" and One Direction's "Up All Night" and gave them "Star Wars" makeovers. The altered albums are filled with weapons, starships and characters from "Star Wars," and they're pretty masterfully done. Taylor Swift's hit album "1989" becomes "1977" -- notable for being the year the first "Star Wars" movie was released -- and Taylor Swift is now Taylor Sith, looking quite a bit like Darth Maul from "The Phantom Menace."
By far the best and most disturbing (to me) of these is Superfi's take on "The Fame" by Lady Gaga. That album got rebranded as "The Shame" by Lady JarJar, with Lady Gaga's face on the CD album cover replaced by that of the annoying Gungan who pretty much single-handedly ruined "The Phantom Menace" for many fans out there.
