Pixar's going back underwater with first 'Finding Dory' trailer

Animation studio gives a first look at "Finding Dory," the sequel to 2003's "Finding Nemo" that will encourage us all to just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.

What do we do? We swim swim swim.

There will undoubtedly be lots of swimming in "Finding Dory," the highly anticipated upcoming sequel to the Oscar-winning 2003 animated feature "Finding Nemo." Pixar released an official new trailer for "Finding Dory" on Tuesday, giving a sense of the adventures that Dory and company face this time around in the deep blue sea.

In "Finding Dory," Dory -- the happy Pacific Regal Blue Tang who suffers from short term-memory loss -- can remember some things. She sets out on an epic adventure to find her family somewhere in the ocean, a journey she probably won't remember.

Marlin and Nemo, the protagonists from the original movie, will make appearances in the new film, and you can probably spot a few other familiar faces in the trailer, which appeared on the YouTube channel for "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" (DeGeneres voices Dory in the film). Aside from that, we don't really know too much about the movie just yet, but will likely learn more as the film's 2016 release date nears.

"Finding Dory" is scheduled for release in theaters in Australia on June 16, 2016, followed by the US on June 17 and the UK on July 29.
