If you're a giant "Star Wars" fan, waiting for the new trailer during Monday night's NFL game between the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles game was well worth it. If you are also a New York Giants fan, then maybe not so much.

ESPN aired the third trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" during the halftime break of the game, and it popped up on the official YouTube channel for Star Wars shortly after its television premiere.

The trailer, which lasts just over two minutes, is packed with all sorts of goodies that reference the original films and show some spectacular glimpses of the new installment we'll get in December. It was a bit of a letdown if you were hoping to catch your first official glimpse of Mark Hamill's return to the role of Luke Skywalker, though there's a hooded figure with a robotic hand that looks like it could be him.
