'MPMan' maker tries a comeback

Enter 'The Blade'

Ever heard of "MPMan"? Don't worry, we had to look it up too. It's considered the first portable digital audio player in the world, created by South Korea's Saehan and released in 1998 in Asia.

Now, the same company is hoping to make history again (presumably with more commercial success) with "The Blade," a portable media device that's true to its name at barely a quarter-inch thick and weighing only 1 ounce. Despite its diminutive size, Pocket-lint says the Blade still manages to include a 1.5-inch display, a voice recorder and an FM radio.

It should also include a magnifying glass, to watch video on that tiny screen.
