The first lady's speech on Donald Trump has grabbed the attention of social media.

Some Facebook users are calling Michelle Obama's speech Thursday in New Hampshire one of the most powerful moments of the 2016 election.

Also trending on social media Friday morning are a new Netflix series and some big news for Harry Potter fans.

Social Cues is our daily feature on what's happening across Facebook and Twitter. Here's what is resonating Friday:

Michelle Obama: The first lady was the top trend on Facebook on Friday morning for her impassioned speech against the Republican presidential nominee. Facebook users posted clips of the moment, in which she tore into Trump for "bragging about sexually assaulting women." Supporters on Facebook called her speech "powerful."

United Airlines: A computer glitch caused flight delays around the world for United Airlines overnight. Frustrated fliers internationally vented at the airliner on Twitter. Systems were returning to normal on Friday morning, but there were still delays.

#HatersBackOff: The Netflix series "Haters Back Off," featuring YouTube star Miranda Sings, premiered on Netflix to a fanfare of applause on Twitter on Friday. Played by Colleen Ballinger, the lipstick-smeared YouTuber rallied her fans to get the hashtag trending on Friday.

J.K. Rowling: Potterheads, get ready for another dive into the Harry Potter universe. The "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" film will only be the first of five movies, the author said Thursday. Fans on Facebook are celebrating the start of a new era, five years after the last Harry Potter movie was released.

Great Barrier Reef: A popular video on Facebook shows the extensive damage of climate change to the Great Barrier Reef about seven months after it was first uncovered. Temperature changes in the water have caused a coral bleaching crisis, killing off a major portion of the plant life in the reef. Scientists from the Climate Council are trying to bring awareness to the cause with the hashtag #RaiseTheReef.
