Looking for the Rebel Bass? Rock out on the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy thanks to these light-up "Star Wars" Millennium Falcon guitars by Doni Custom Guitars on Etsy.
Han Solo and Chewbacca will be begging to be in your band when they see you rock out with these Millennium Falcon guitars.
Using vintage "Star Wars" Millennium Falcon toys as the base, Doni Latchford of UK-based Doni Custom Guitars adds a fret board and strings, as well as blue LED lights, to give otherwise boring guitars a geektastic makeover. Then he sells them on Etsy.
"It is essentially a plastic Millennium Falcon toy, just with the added feature of a guitar timber shaped to fit inside it," Latchford told Crave. "Add the neck and all the hardware, and there it is -- though that makes it sound a lot easier to craft than it actually is."
There's the Han Solo Guitar that's a six-string Stratocaster with a Millennium Falcon body. "Don't let that fool you though, because this guitar produces a wonderful tone, and with a half decent amp, you could amaze everyone by conquering all manner of riffs in less than 12 parsecs," the Etsy description reads.
That guitar is also equipped with blue LEDs that run from a concealed battery pack. The Han Solo guitar costs $713 (about £462 or AU$913) plus shipping.
Then, of course, there's the Rebel Bass Guitar. The fully working bass-style guitar also has a Millennium Falcon body, and also has blue LED lights installed. The guitar's headstock features art of Han Solo and Chewbacca. The Rebel Bass sells for $792 (about £513 or AU$1,014).
You can also order a custom-built flight case for either guitar an extra $357 (about £231 or AU$457). After all, you want to protect your Millennium Falcon guitar from dust, dirt and Sith Lords.
