We love what we're seeing out of this year's New York Toy Fair, but we're particularly enamored with Mattel's ThingMaker, which is now a 3D printer for kids, and Barbie's new smart dream home, which puts any IoT-connected house to shame (except maybe our own CNET Smart Home, of course).
Over in scientific news, a team of scientists at Vanderbilt University are using a $40 cotton candy machine to create the artificial capillaries. That's some serious ingenuity right there, and you'll be surprised at how the research could help lab-grown organs in the future.
