What is it about those accused of committing crimes and social media?
If they're on the run, they. Some even allegedly even .
The latest, and perhaps most disturbing, is the man who is accused of assaulting a woman, stealing her iPod, and then sending her a Facebook friend request.
As the Associated Press reports, 28-year-old Riley Allen Mullins allegedly struck a woman who was waiting at the Bremerton Ferry Building in Washington and stole her device.
She didn't see his face, but noticed a triangular tattoo on his neck.
It so happened, police say, that the man who suddenly sent her a Facebook friend request the next day also had a triangular neck tattoo in one of his profile pictures.
Mullins has been charged with second-degree robbery.
There will be those who feel, should he be found guilty, that there might be a criminal charge of first-degree gall.
