Legos are entering new reaches of the Star Wars galaxy.

As the Star Wars movie universe is expanding, Lego is releasing several sets this year that take place in the past, present and future of the franchise.

At this weekend's New York Toy Fair, Lego is showing off sets that include scenes from the original Star Wars trilogy, the newest "The Force Awakens" film, the "Star Wars: Rebels" television show and the just-unveiled "Lego Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures" animated series.

The latter show in particular, announced on the Star Wars website Thursday, will feature the adventures of a family of scavengers during the time between "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi." The series, which will be told with the Lego-stylized characters, is set to debut this summer on Disney XD in the US.

"Eclipse Fighter" and "StarScavenger" sets based on this new corner of the Star Wars universe will debut around the time of the show, retailing at $30 and $50 respectively in the US. International pricing for all sets have not been announced at this time, but these prices convert roughly to £20 and £35 in the UK as well as AU$40 and AU$70 in Australia.

For "The Force Awakens," Lego has already released five sets and plans on launching one new one in March as well as two in June. These sets will see the debut of First Order Stormtroopers in the "First Order Snowspeeder" set, Resistance Troopers in the "Resistance Trooper Battle Pack," Maz Kanata in the "Battle on Takodana" and Admiral Ackbar with General Leia Organa in the "Resistance Troop Transporter" set. Prices for these toys range from $10 to $70 in the US (roughly £5 to £50 and AU$15 to AU$100).

Buildable figures of characters from the new film, including Rey, First Order Stormtrooper, Poe Dameron, Finn, Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma, also are already available and were on display at the toy fair, going for $20 to $30 (£10 to £20, AU$30 to AU$40).

The "Star Wars: Rebels" show will be getting sets based on several ships in March and June, which include "The Ghost," "TIE Advanced Prototype," "Wookie Gunship" and the "AT-DP." These also range between $20 and $30 (£10 to £20, AU$30 to AU$40).

Lego recreations of original trilogy moments are also set for March, which include the iconic moment when Han Solo gets frozen in carbonite in the "Carbon Freezing Chamber" set. Also on tap are the "Rebel Alliance Battle Pack," the "Galactic Empire Battle Pack," "Hoth Attack" and "Droid Escape Pod" sets ranging from $25 to $30. A much larger "Assault on Hoth Base" set is also set to come in May, using 2,144 pieces to recreate the base from "The Empire Strikes Back." Its price will be $250 in the US (roughly £170, AU$350).
