Adults can add a splash of Eggo's Nog Sippin' Cream to their holiday drinks.

Kellogg Company

Eggo, the frozen-waffle brand that got a popularity boost from Stranger Things, wants to get grown-ups into the holiday spirit with a boozy drink. The brand invites the 21-and-over crowd to relax, kick back and enjoy their breakfast -- or nightcap -- with a side of spiked egg nog.

On Tuesday, food giant Kellogg's announced the debut of Eggo Nog Appalachian Sippin' Cream, an egg nog liqueur flavored with rum, cinnamon and nutmeg. A collaboration between Eggo and Sugarlands Distilling Co., the creation marks the waffle brand's first entry into the adult beverage game. Eggo touts the nog as a remedy for taxed parents who feel burned out from the holidays.

Eggo's marketing director, Joe Beauprez, served up the following sales pitch: "Paired perfectly with our Eggo Thick & Fluffy Waffles -- maybe even topped with a dollop of ice cream -- Eggo Nog is sure to help parents L'Eggo during one of the busiest times of the year."

The drink will be available for a limited time this holiday season in select regions throughout the US.
