A week ago, Ken Bone was an unknown coal-plant worker with a red Izod sweater. Now, thanks to the cult following he developed after speaking at Sunday's presidential debate, he's a national mascot.

And what's next for a national mascot but to receive an invite from rapper Snoop Dogg to hang with him in Los Angeles? That was just one of the weird and wonderful happenings to come out of the Reddit Ask Me Anything Q&A that Bone participated in Thursday night.

"I'm just a normal guy, who spends his free time with his hot wife and cat in St. Louis," Bone wrote in his introduction. "I didn't see any of this coming, it's been a crazy week."

Snoop Dogg's invite had to be the weirdest part of the AMA. The rapper, a Reddit regular, wrote, "KBone !! When you coming thru tha doggy den 4 a little chit chat ?? I got something special at tha crib for u !" (Note: Snoop did not elaborate on the "something special," but Redditors seemed pretty sure it was something legal in Colorado, Washington, Alaska and Oregon.)

And Bone's response was as ordinary as an American fanboy's response can get. After allowing that the meetup might just happen, he said, "My dad wants to roll wit da Dogg big time, you me and him could do some tight stuff. That didn't sound cool at all, did it?"

Bone also showed he had a sense of humor about himself. When asked to choose between pizza rolls and pizza bagels, he chose both, saying, "You don't fill out a sweater like this by doing pizza anything half way."

He also explained how he was chosen for the debate -- he simply answered the phone when the Gallup poll people called. And he's not eager to get into politics as a candidate. "I don't even go to (Homeowners' Association) meetings. But if I really thought I could effect positive change I'd consider it." But not for president. "I know I look old cause I'm fat and bald and dress like it's 1954," Bone said. "But I'm only 34 and ineligible to run!"

The weirdest reaction he's had to his sudden fame so far came from a family member, he said. "My uncle called me today and seemed genuinely star struck as if we hadn't been drinking beer together the week before."

Bone also discussed his feelings on Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, Cosby sweaters, baseball and more.

While he's confessed he's leaning toward one of the candidates, Bone smartly wouldn't say which one. And he also spoke up in defense of his undecided status. "Being undecided is not the same as being indecisive," Bone said. "We just have a lot to consider this election."
