When is "Homeland" on again next? When will your DVR pick up the next episode of "Modern Family"? Is "SNL" a repeat this Saturday? Get these answers and more with My Episode Guide. This Chrome extension keeps you posted on how many days remain until the next episodes of your favorite TV shows air.

My Episode Guide adds a small button to the right of Chrome's URL bar. After you install the extension, the button's icon is a yellow smiley face with sunglasses. After you add your favorite shows, the button shows the number of days until the next airing among your shows. Click the button to see how many days remain until the next episode airs and the date for each of your shows, as well as the name of the episode. My Episode Guide orders the shows you add in the order you add them, but you can drag to reorder the list.

To add a show, click the button, type in the name of a TV show, and click Add. It doesn't recognize every show (it got "Austin City Limits" but not "Unplugged," for example), but it did recognize shows in between seasons, such as "Homeland" and "Dexter." I have 160 days until season 1 of" Homeland" and season 7 of "Dexter" air.

From the list, click the X to delete a show and click the arrow button to see an episode list. Impressively, it lists the episodes back to season 1 episode 1, which makes it a handy reference tool. Quick, who hosted the very first episode of "Saturday Night Live"?
