Samsung phone features make up for ho-hum design
At first glance, this Samsung phone might resemble an old transistor radio. Its silver flip design has little pizzazz, especially for an EV-DO handset, despite its unique circular external display.
But never judge a phone by its casing, we always say. Inside the Samsung MM-A960 (SPH-A960) you'll find features that are more impressive than its appearance, such as Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel camera with PictBridge photo printing, a digital media player, a Micro SD card slot, a speakerphone, and speech-to-text dictation. So far our experience with the last feature has been mixed, but we're eager to test it out. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, the MM-A960 is now for sale on Sprint's Web site after months of languishing in Best Buy stores, for a fair $79 with service.
