By default, iOS 6 wants you to take a Panorama photo from left to right, but with a simple tap you can change the direction. Here's how!
As we've already discussed, the new Panorama feature on iOS 6 for the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 is extremely easy to use. But, my biggest issue when first using it was always being forced to go from left to right while taking a photo. This may not be a big deal in most situations, but there are times when being able to pan from right to left would be ideal.
It took me a few times using the new feature before I accidentally discovered you're able to switch the direction by tapping on the screen.
You can tap above and below the bar to adjust autofocus and autoexposure, but if you tap in the Panorama bar across the middle of your screen, you'll see the direction get reversed. The preview window will move to the right side of your screen, with the arrow changing direction as well. Tapping in the bar again will change the direction back to the default left-to-right setup.
This isn't the most complicated tip ever, but it's definitely one that will be extremely useful.
