During a zombie apocalypse, how do you celebrate the holidays while holding a weapon?

Former MythBusters cast member Kari Byron demonstrates how she likes to celebrate geek-style with this tutorial on how to open a bottle of champagne with an impressive machete.

In the video Celebrate Like A Geek With Kari Byron - Champagne, Machete and Zombies from the Web series The Daily Share, Byron demonstrates step-by-step how easy it is to open a bottle of champers with just a sharp knife and a smooth movement of the arm.

"There's like 90 psi (pounds per square inch) in here, which makes this a little tiny bomb," Byron says in the video about the bottle of sparkling wine.

Byron suggests pointing the top of the bottle away from your body. Then make a clean sweep of the bottle with the machete all the way to the top.

Then, pop! You're ready to toast your fellow survivors and partygoers with a nice flute of fizzy alcohol. Mazel tov!
