Huge robots battling to the death? Count us in (Tomorrow Daily 202)

Khail and Ashley discuss a potential fight between two of the biggest robots they've ever seen, watch what looks like an AR version of MS Paint and enjoy a tiny car's transformation into a mini-train. #TDRoboFight

If you don't get excited about the idea of two gigantic, real-life robots duking it out, we don't know you. Usually we'd say you're a robot, but even a robot would get excited about MegaBots, Inc.'s Mk. II robot battling Suidobashi Heavy Industries' Kurakata robot. With a total weigh-in of over 20,000 lbs. combined, this would be a fight we'd spend big money to see. Forget Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, this could be the battle of the century.

We're also checking out a neat AR application from Microsoft that turns any room into a real-time render, allowing the headset wearer to "paint" furniture virtually. It's meant to make the technology smarter, but we can see some potential use for home decor and other fun applications.

Lastly, we agree that the Forrail car/train is totally a publicity stunt, but it's still kind of fun to watch it rolling down the tracks next to a huge locomotive. We can't imagine how long it took to get moving, though, since it's a very tiny car with some gigantic steel train wheels attached.

Enjoy your weekend!
