Zappos has released its Windows 8 shopping app just in time for the holidays. Though the app can be used on any system that runs Windows 8, it's tailor-made for the touch screen, which should benefit users with devices like the Microsoft Surface or the Dell Venue 8 Pro.
The entire catalog of products is available for purchase with the Zappos app. To encourage Windows 8 users to place orders with the app, Zappos is offering free next-business-day shipping through the end of the year (US customers only).
Zappos already offers free standard shipping, but next-day shipping normally costs a lot more. For example, next-day shipping for a pair of New Balance shoes costs $25 if purchased via the Web site, iOS app, or Android app. With the Windows 8 app, every shipping method is free.
