How to create a new Google account without Google+

Creating new Google accounts these days, automatically sign you up for Gmail and Google+. We'll show you how to create a new Google account without them.

Signing up for a new Google account now automatically signs you up for Gmail and Google+, whether you like it or not.

If you're looking to create a new Google account, without being automatically signed up for Gmail and Google+, you still can, for now. However, there's no telling when Google will officially make this a requirement across all of their services.

Use the old Google signup page

The old Google signup page is still currently active and won't automatically create a Gmail account or Google+ profile.

The new signup page now asks for your name, gender, and mobile number.

Use the signup pages for Google Calendar or Blogger

According to the Google Operating System blog, the signup pages for some of Google's other services, like Google Calendar and Blogger, don't yet force you to create a Gmail account or Google+ profile.

That's it. If you want to create a new Google account without being forced to have Gmail or Google+, you might want to go use the old signup page while you still can. If you've already used the new form, you can always go back and delete your Google+ account.
