Growing safety concerns have halted some sales of the popular holiday gift. And that's not the only tech gift that comes with drama. If you get a drone, you'll have to register it with the government.

This year's hot holiday gift is just way too hot for some. With reports of some hoverboards catching fire, Amazon pulled many brands from its website, and Overstock.com is no longer selling any hoverboards.
