Homestead adds photo service

Web site builder Homestead launched a new site on Monday that lets people create and share their digital photos online.

Called PhotoSite, the service lets people upload and organize their photos onto their own customized Web site. Homestead will charge $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year for storing up to 250 photos, or $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year for up to 1,000 photos. The service also offers theme-oriented layouts and other photo-editing tools.
