Hot Toys revealed its new "Star Wars" line with one-sixth-scale collectible figures of Han Solo and Chewbacca, and they both look real enough to make anyone named Greedo feel nervous. The figures are expected to ship in April 2015.
The Han Solo figure is based on Harrison Ford's image, with movie-accurate facial expressions that include wrinkles and textured skin.
The figure stands approximately 11.8 inches (30 centimeters) tall and has over 30 points of articulation. Ten pieces of interchangeable hands include a pair of relaxed palms, gloved palms and clenched hands for expressing frustration about a certain sassy Princess and her evil dad. Han is priced at $229.99 (about £184, AU$341) plus shipping and handing.
The figure also includes Han's costume, a blaster pistol and a droid caller as seen in the movie "Star Wars: A New Hope." A special-edition Han Solo figure with a Stormtrooper belt and blaster rifle -- as seen on the Death Star -- will be available in select markets.
Han's Wookiee co-pilot and best friend, Chewbacca, also gets the Hot Toys treatment. Chewbacca's figure is also movie-accurate with a newly developed body, brown fabric hair, highly detailed bowcaster, bandolier bag and one headset.
Standing approximately 14 inches (36 centimeters) tall, Chewbacca's figure also has over 30 points of articulation. Chewbacca comes with two pairs of interchangeable palms including one relaxed and one for holding his bowcaster. Chewbacca is priced at $254.99 (roughly £156, AU$290) plus shipping and handing.
Both Han Solo and Chewbecca together are priced at $479.99 (£294, AU$546) can be preordered from Sideshow Collectibles. And remember, it's never wise to upset a Wookiee.
