Google is celebrating the 20th anniversary of humans living on the International Space Station by creating a new 3D model of the ISS that people can explore in augmented reality. Google worked with NASA on the model and other features to mark the milestone.

The 3D model makes it "possible to bring the station back down to Earth and undertake fascinating examinations of each module of the station in incredible detail," Simon Delacroix, program manager of Google Arts & Culture, said Thursday in a blog post

To view it, go to artsandculture.google.com and search ISS. Select 20 years on the ISS and scroll down to Explore in 3D.

The tech giant is also releasing a multiplayer Puzzle Party that includes images from NASA's ISS archives. As you would with any puzzle, you piece together images such as the exterior of the space station or astronauts on spacewalks.

To play, go to artsandculture.google.com and search Puzzle Party. Select Puzzle Party -- NASA Edition from the top row, then click Launch Experiment.

Monday, Nov. 2, marks the 20th anniversary of the first permanent crew arriving on the space station. Astronauts, cosmonauts and researchers have been there continually ever since.

On Friday, Oct. 30 at 8:10 a.m. PT, NASA astronaut Kate Rubins and cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov will discuss their current mission from aboard the ISS.
