Amazon rocks the gaming world with a killer deal on the legendary first-person shooter series Bioshock. Will you buy into the package?
Video games can cost a fortune, but if you're just a little patient, sometimes an opportunity comes around to obtain hot titles for next to nothing. For example, Amazon has a screaming deal going on the entire Bioshock trilogy -- Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite -- for only $19.99 until September 25.
According to Amazon, the deal slices 75 percent off retail pricing, which translates to $59.98 in savings. If you're not interested in buying all three games and would rather buy only Bioshock and Bioshock 2, Amazon has the duo at only $4.99.
The trio (or duo) of digital downloads only works for Windows computers and requires Valve's Steam digital distribution platform, so those of you with Macs and video game consoles such as the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will have to find other deals.
Bioshock and its sequel deliver hundreds of hours of well-written gameplay that will immerse you in the underwater city Rapture, while Infinite goes in a completely different direction and takes flight in the sky city Columbia. Read CNET's reviews of Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite.
