'Game of Thrones' meets Taylor Swift in 'Blank Page' music vid

Nerdist releases a music video for "Blank Page," an incredible parody song that features George R.R. Martin telling Daenerys Targaryen he could kill her off at any time.

I think we've found a winner in the contest for ultimate "Game of Thrones" song. It's called "Blank Page," and it captures the true power author George R.R. Martin wields over the many characters in the lands of Westeros and Essos.

Songwriter Freddy Scott partnered with Nerdist to create a music video for "Blank Page," and the end result is pretty amazing. The song is obviously based on Taylor Swift's "Blank Space," with custom lyrics to bring listeners into the Seven Kingdoms. In the video, Martin gets a visit from Daenerys Targaryen, and the nerdy writer reminds the Mother of Dragons that even though she's a fan favorite, she can be killed or maimed by him at any time.

The clip features several nods to fans of the series, with jokes about losing ones sword hand saving Brienne of Tarth; Martin hanging up a picture of actor Sean Bean, who plays Ned Stark, with a joke about him dying; and Martin chasing Daenerys around with a sword. The video was directed by by Andrew Bowser and Ben Mekler, and stars Nick Mundy as George R.R. Martin, Emily Rudd as Daenerys Targaryen and Brandon Hillcock as Jon Snow.

If this doesn't become the new unofficial music video for the "Game of Thrones," I don't know what will. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go and try to find out the next name Martin intends to cross off his list so I can spoil Season 5 for the lot of you.
