'Game of Thrones' gets 'Simpsons' art treatment

Collect them all! Artist Adrien Noterdaem has done up most of the massive "Game of Thrones" cast as "Simpsons" characters.

The world of "Game of Thrones" is dark and deadly. After you've made it through the Red Wedding, you may need to lighten things up a bit. There's no better way to do that than to immerse yourself in a place where "Game of Thrones" has been cross-bred with "The Simpsons."

Artist Adrien Noterdaem (also known as "ADN") may live in Brussels, but his mind is in Springfield. He has been creating a lengthy series of characters done up in the Simpsons animation style. The drawings, including the "Game of Thrones" cast, live over at his Simpsonized Tumblr.

Not surprisingly, Samwell Tarly looks a lot like an alternate universe Comic Book Guy. The Hound actually manages to look both emo and a little cuddly at the same time. It's hard to be intimidating when you're yellow and have only three fingers. Tywin Lannister, however, has more than a little of the conniving Mr. Burns in him.

Noterdaem has Simpsonized everything from Paris Hilton to Superman, but the "Game of Thrones" set may well be one of his most epic accomplishments.
