No kid wants to be the one who blends into a crowd. That's why it's important to start young when setting your children up for a lifetime filled with the nostalgic irony that comes with being tragically hip. Of course, they may not like you when they grow older, but that's fashionable too, right?

ASK A GADGETTE
Dear Gadgettes:
This is Siavash from Iran, a long time BOL and Gadgettes listener .
I just wanted to as you girls a question, my girlfriend is a very stylish girl , she is a graphic designer and she is studying Art.
This is the fourth year we are together, I since then I have named a star after her, bought her a Louis Vuitton watch and a Louis Vuitton hand bag, a pair of Gucci shoes and a Nokia 5800, not counting the valentines and new years.
Now, this year I really don't know what to do? Should I buy her a DSLR? A HP VIV? Or ...?
Help me, what do you suggest under $1000
Best Regards
Siavash
