Hey, Gadgettes,
As a Harry Potter fan, I really enjoyed last week's show. I smirked when I heard out that you all had never heard of Wizard Rock, because I actually knew about something before you! But then I cringed when I heard that you only listened to Harry and the Potters. That group tries to make up with enthusiasm what they lack in talent.
I'm writing to tell you that there really is some good Wizard Rock out there. Try listening to the Switchblade Kittens, which was really the first group to "do" Wizard Rock with their Harry Potter themed album "The Weird Sisters." Another great group is Ministry of Magic, especially the songs "Snape vs. Snape," "Ascendio," "Accio Love" and, for a good laugh, "O Holey Night."
Some other songs to listen to are "It's Snowing," by Catchlove; "The Sweater Song" by the Hermione Crookshanks Experience; "Never Coming Back" or "Headed to Hogwarts," by Catchlove; and "Happy Christmas Day," by Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls. I'm sure that there are a lot more good Wizard Rock groups out there, but I hope these picks will give you a better appreciation for Wizard Rock.
Can I say love the show here? Especially when Natali is on. Please, can you have her on every week? Having Kelly, Molly and Natali on the show together just makes my week.

p.s. No, I'm not a teenager. At 47, I'm probably the oldest Wizard Rock fan. And my two sons (ages 16 and 11) laugh at my interest in Wizard Rock every time a CD-of-the-Month comes in the mail. But the groups sell the music to raise money for charity, which is how I got hooked in the first place.
