Fuji releases new digital cameras

Fuji announced on Thursday three new cameras for first-time digital photographers. Two of the cameras, the FinePix A101 and A201, mark the birth of a new line, the A series, which targets novices. The 1.3-megapixel A101, which comes with a 2x digital zoom, will be available in late August for $179. The 2-megapixel A201, which has a 2.5x digital zoom, will come out in September for $249. The A101 comes with a 8MB SmartMedia flash memory card, and the A201 comes with a 16MB card. The 2-megapixel FinePix 2600 will be available in September for $299. The 2600 comes with a 3x optical zoom, 2.5x digital zoom and a 16MB SmartMedia card.
