First explosive clip drops from 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'

You've seen the teasers and trailers, but now we have a clip that lets the scene roll...for at least 15 seconds.

The slow trickle of bits and pieces from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" continues in tortuous fashion with the release of the first full clip from the seventh episode of the epic history of intra-galactic trade squabbles in a galaxy far, far away.

Up until now we've seen teaser trailers, one full trailer (and the sweded version) and a handful of TV spots for the new movie, which premieres December 17 in the UK and Australia, and December 18 in the US. At Sunday night's American Music Awards, Harrison Ford made a brief appearance to share the 15-second clip, embedded below, of a single scene from the film.

Unfortunately, we've seen most of this clip in the previous trailers, but we now get a more full sense of just how squeezed Rey and Finn (played by Daisy Ridley and John Boyega) are between a TIE fighter in pursuit and a Quad Jumper that also takes fire.

And no, there is still no sign of Luke Skywalker. Check it out below.
