Famous actors reenact Star Wars with Wookiee roars, lightsaber sounds

Watch Jennifer Lawrence, Tom Hiddleston, David Tennant, Natalie Dormer, Bradley Cooper and more recite Star Wars dialogue and roar like Chewbacca.

Suddenly we wish "The Hunger Games" had Wookiees in it thanks to Liam Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson's spot on Chewbacca roars.

It's not every day you see actor Tom Hiddleston do a Darth Vader impression.

In honor of the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," MTV asked various celebrities to reenact their favorite Star Wars lines, sound effects and creature sounds in "Star Wars: Hollywood Strikes Back."

Remarkably, many of the celebs know the Star Wars story by heart. "Lord of the Rings" actor Elijah Wood can recite the opening crawl of "A New Hope," while "Game of Thrones" actor Natalie Dormer channels her inner Princess Leia.

"Hunger Games" actors Liam Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson all do a mean Wookiee roar, as does Benicio Del Toro and Seth Rogen. Sadly, Tina Fey doesn't know how to mimic Chewbacca.

Actors Sienna Miller and Bradley Cooper retell that touching moment in the carbonite freezing chamber when we first hear Princess Leia say "I love you" and Han Solo responds with "I know."

"Doctor Who" actor David Tennant reminds us that "that's no moon." And "Crimson Peak" director Guillermo Del Toro warns us of "a great disturbance in the Force."

If that wasn't enough geeking out for you, the video, posted last week, also includes "Jurassic World" actor Bryce Dallas Howard making some very believable lightsaber sound effects.
