CNET's Marvelathon: Watch every Avengers-related movie with us

This month, we're watching every single Marvel Cinematic Universe film (yes, even the one with Hulk). And we want you to join in.

As the global premiere of "Captain America: Civil War" approaches (it's set for later this month), we're hunkering down with some movies. And we want you to watch along with us, and share your questions, comments and smart remarks.

OK, it's going to be a lot of movies. To prepare for Marvel's Phase 3, we're going to watch every Marvel Cinematic Universe film to date. And we still want you to join in!

We're having a Marvelathon, a monthlong "marathon" of all 12 of Marvel's Phase 1 and Phase 2 movies. Each week we'll watch 3 films, and on Monday mornings CNET Marvel fans will chat about the films on Facebook Live at 11 a.m. PT (that's 2 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. BST).

We'll be following the order in this chronological infographic, and here's our current schedule of events. Guests are subject to life (it is allergy season, you guys).

Here's our week four chat.

Here's our week three chat.

Here's our week two chat.

And our week one chat.

What will the chats cover?
Our chats will be about 25 to 30 minutes and they'll begin as a loose discussion of the films. For example, do the movies hold up? Do we feel better about their sticky plot points now that we can see how all the films connect?

Others ideas include the order in which we watched them (good or terrible?); characters and continuity; and how a film fits within the overall MCU.

So, what's the catch?
What? There's no catch. Like I said, we'll be using this order to watch the films and we hope you'll follow along with us. Of course we could spend just one weekend marathoning all of these movies, but we have other plans and figured you probably do too.

Do you need to have already seen the films?
Not at all! Fresh eyes are a great thing, and you'll probably have some engaging questions we'll want to answer on Monday mornings. To get notified of our chats before they begin, you can like CNET on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.

Do you use iCal? Here's a public calendar you can follow. Just click the link and it should automatically open Calendar on your Mac or iOS device. Google Calendar users can copy the link and add it under public calendar, "Add by URL."

"Civil War" opens April 28 in Australia, April 29 in the UK and May 6 in the US.
