Netflix published a collection of first-look pictures of its upcoming live-action Cowboy Bebop series on Monday. The series, which is set to premier on Nov. 19, will feature John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine.
Of the three images posted to Netflix's Twitter account, two featured closeups of Cho. The third showed Cho alongside Shakir and Pineda walking down a dimly lit alleyway with a corgi. Netflix didn't share any pictures of actor Alex Hassell, who is slated to play Spike's enemy and one of the show's villains.

The 10-episode Netflix series was announced in late 2018. It is based on the renowned 1998 Japanese anime TV series of the same title. The show is named after the Bebop, a spaceship in the year 2071, crewed by bounty hunters traveling through space.
Showrunners for the upcoming Netflix adaptation include Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol writers Andre Nemec and Josh Appelbaum alongside Venom and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle writers Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. The live-action series will also feature work from composer Yoko Kanno, who scored the original Japanese anime version.
