A Quiet Place 2 is the latest movie to get delayed amid coronavirus concerns. In an Instagram post Thursday, writer and director John Krasinski said the release of the followup to 2018's A Quiet Place will be postponed.

"One of the things I'm most proud of is that people have said our movie is one you have to see all together. Well due to the ever-changing circumstances of what's going on the world around us, now clearly is not the right time to do that," Krasinski wrote.

Krasinski didn't reference when the movie might be released. This isn't the first movie to be delayed. Earlier in March, the upcoming James Bond film No Time to Die got bumped to November. The latest installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise, F9, won't hit theaters for another year, in April 2021.

On Wednesday, the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic. Since late December, when it was first detected, the virus has spread to every continent except Antarctica and has, of this writing, infected more than 127,000 people, causing more than 4,700 deaths.
