EA patches "SimCity 4"

Electronic Arts on Friday released a patch for "SimCity 4," the current top-selling PC game. The patch includes fixes for several errors that had caused the game to crash and improved support for ATI, 3dfx and SIS video cards.

New enhancements to the user interface address some of the most common complaints about the game, including how roads are built. And the developers have added whales to the seascape. The patch is available for download from Electronic Arts.
