During his worldwide travels, Jack Hyer of Whitefish, Mont., filmed a video to help him ask his sweetheart Rebecca Strellnauer to marry him.

He had decided after their first date in 2010 that he wanted to be her husband and started filming the proposal video right away. It's shot in famous sights in 26 different countries.

At each location he mouths the catchy song, "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" by The Proclaimers, showing his girlfriend that he wants to "be the man who wakes up next to" her.

Did she say "yes"? There's only one way to find out. Check out the video he made.
