Designer Justin Harder has made a life-size motorcycle from wood and documented the whole process in a photo gallery. While that usually wouldn't be such a big deal, this version is special--it's modeled after the bike from the classic NES video game Excitebike. It's not a working model, but that's fine with us--you wouldn't want to be sitting on a wooden motorbike when it overheats.
Not only did Harder handcraft the motorbike, he also created a matching helmet, protective gear, and a trophy, all adopting the same pixelated 8-bit style. Check out his Flickr page to see images of the construction process.
