Deal of the day: Hello Kitty iPod for $375

Nothing says "Happy Holidays" like a pink music player endorsed by a cartoon character. Sanrio Surprise, the U.S. retail outlet organization for Japan's Sanrio--the people behind --are now selling the special edition 6MB Hello Kitty iPod mini for $375.

The iPod comes with a stand shaped like a teddy bear, a carrying case, and, of course, a pink iPod mini with a laser-etched portrait of the queen of kawai (kawai means 'cute' and is the basis of a multibillion dollar industry in Japan). Here's a photo.

To date, the item has mostly only been available in Japan or through eBay auctioneers. Currently, the bundle in eBay costs about $100.
