Crucial expands storage card line

Crucial Technology, a division of memory chipmaker Micron Technology, announced Monday the release of new storage cards in the MultiMediaCard (MMC) and CompactFlash Type I and Type II formats. The new products--for use in digital cameras, MP3 players and other devices--include 16MB, 32MB and 64MB MMC cards, with prices ranging from $17.90 to $39.62. Type I CompactFlash cards are available in 8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 96MB, 128MB and 256MB versions, priced at $11.69 to $126. A new Type II card holds 512MB of data and sells for $360.
