Yes, the 7-inch Vinci Tab II is a tablet just for children -- or, as my CNET colleague James Martin likes to call it, a "chablet." It comes preloaded with educational material designed to simulate a kindergarten curriculum and aimed at engaging developing minds in areas such as social skills; language and literacy; and math and logical reasoning. Apps can be used in English, French, Spanish, and Chinese.

Not that little Tommy will care about specs, but the Wi-Fi-enabled 8GB tablet has a Cortex A8 1.2GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, a 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, and plays H.264 video at a resolution of 720p and at 30fps. And since young Sally's sure to get Internet-savvy fast, Parent Mode prevents toddlers from going where they shouldn't.

Normally, this kiddie tablet would run you $250, but you have a chance to get one gratis. How do you go about doing that? There are a few rules, so please read carefully.
