Corel updates publishing program

Software maker Corel announced Tuesday a new version of Ventura, the company's page layout and publishing application. Ventura 10 will include support for XML content, easing the creation of documents suitable for publishing in multiple Web and print format. The program will also create documents in Adobe Systems' PDF format and will include expanded graphics capabilities.

Ventura 10 will be available in September, priced at $699 for the full version or $249 for those upgrading from an earlier version of Ventura.
