It's gaming mayhem this week as GameSpot's Mark Walton and Seb Ford stage a takeover of the CNET UK podcast. They talk to Andy about the state of the battle between the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 now that Gamescom, the world's biggest gaming conference, has come to an end.

Sony's laid-back conference let the console speak for itself at Gamescom, clearly impressing our guests -- and the GameSpot audience. The game titles at launch are similar across both platforms, so will Sony take the top spot with its £80 cheaper price tag?

Also up for discussion is the Google Nexus 4 smart phone, which has been given a price reduction of its own, down to a ludicrous £160. Google may well be clearing out stock ahead of the launch of the Nexus 5, so is it worth splashing the cash now or waiting to see what's next?

Samsung's upcoming smart watch, the Galaxy Gear, is making its way to IFA, along with the Galaxy Note 3 with its rumoured 4K video camera, and Steve Ballmer has announced his retirement from Microsoft. But what was his biggest regret?

All this and plenty more is discussed on this week's show, along with your feedback, tech questions and even a limerick.
