Conan O'Brien: iPad Mini is just another sad ripoff

In a delightful parody of the new iPad Mini ad, Conan offers a ditty that suggests Apple fanboys will buy, well, anything.

How large is your void?

If you buy an iPad Mini, you're just trying to fill the empty void in your sad life.

Please don't point your cudgel in my direction, oh Apple fanboy. For I am merely quoting the words of Conan's parody of the new iPad Mini ad.

Taking the footage whole, O'Brien offered lyrics to the ditty played on the two iPadded pianos.

And what lyrics they are.

Spend your money, spend your money,

Spend your money, spend your money,

You will buy

Anything that we put

Into the store

No matter how minute the

Chan-ges

Are to the previous model

You're just trying to fill the empty void in your sad life.

I feel sure that one or two people might wish to question Conan's judgment.

One or two of the more fanatic types might like to speak of build quality and exquisite design.

They might want to talk about Steve Jobs' legacy and Jony Ive's vision. They might want to talk about just how sexy every single Apple product makes them feel.

And yet, when we stare into our mirrors, alone and forlorn, do we not feel our lives are just a little empty and sad?

That's why we watch comedy shows, isn't it?
