CNET UK podcast 468: Tim Cook's camera skills, LG's screen tease and a Sonic the Hedgehog movie

This week we offer our hearty congratulations to our old friend Rory Reid, who's just been announced as a new "Top Gear" presenter. Plus, all the tech news that's fit to chat about and a super-fast Sonic quiz.

What does it mean?! The uncertainty is killing us. Well, briefly distracting us at least.
LG

Greetings, podfans! It's another busy week -- one in which podcast co-founder and ex-CNETeer Rory Reid joined Chris Evans as part of the new "Top Gear" lineup. Congrats Rory, but there's no time to linger on your success. There's tech to chat about.

For instance, there's Tim Cook's decidedly shonky Super Bowl photo, which was deleted from Twitter when its rubbishness was pointed out. Then there's LG's cryptic tease concerning the upcoming G5 smartphone. And if that's not enough, controversy over Uber has turned political, with George Galloway promising to "Run Uber out" if he's elected as London mayor.

We make Andy very happy by chatting about Harry Potter, and administer a punishingly difficult Sonic the Hedgehog quiz. Why? Because everyone's favourite 'hog is going to star in his own movie, that's why.

We're always hungry for your feedback, so pop your thoughts in the comments below or drop us a line at cnetukpodcast [at] cbsi.com. Oh, and if you've enjoyed the show, why not leave us a glowing review on iTunes? Hit play and enjoy.
