Star Wars fans can now get a Clue. The classic board game where SOMEONE commits a murder in the SOMETHING room with the SOMETHING has now moved into a galaxy far, far away, with the Clue: Star Wars edition (US $25, £20, AU$33).
Sadly, it doesn't sound like you get to make our heroic main characters all murderous. There's no LEIA killed YODA with a BLASTER in the CANTINA. Instead, you play as one of the good guys -- Leia, Luke, Han, Chewbacca, R2-D2, or C-3PO, and just as in the original film, you're trying to thwart the Empire's evil deeds.
And instead of playing on a flat board and just pretending you're taking the secret passage into the Conservatory, you get to play on a cool 3D Death Star replica.
"It's a period of civil war, and players have managed to sneak onto the Empire's ultimate weapon, the Death Star!" Hasbro says on its site. "Be the first player to find out which planet Darth Vader plans to destroy next, which room the Death Star plans are hidden in, and which vehicle is the correct escape vehicle."
This all sounds great, except for one thing. There's no debate over the correct escape vehicle. No matter what the game says, the Millennium Falcon is always the correct escape vehicle. Unless you're drunk.
