The Unofficial Apple Weblog reports that Chooseco is offering The Abominable Snowman CYOA book for iPod for free download from its site.
The text is from the original CYOA series, only this time with sound effects and links. The iPod eBook, once downloaded, is stored in your iPod's Notes folder. It's available for either Windows or Mac-configured iPods.
None of the other books appear to be available yet as iPod eBooks, but the box sets of 6 books are available for $27.
