Rumors of new colors for the stylish LG Chocolate have been floating around the Web for several weeks now. A white VX8500 (CDMA) Chocolate, which as everyone knows isn't really chocolate, is listed on Mobiledia's Web site as coming by the end of the year for Verizon Wireless. And according to Verizon documents it unearthed, Engadget is predicting that the phone will launch with Verizon on Halloween. Yet we're hearing another story that the handset may take a couple more weeks. It's also rumored that the Chocolate will soon come in red, green, and possibly blue as well. We don't have confirmation on when they'll appear and for whom.

On the GSM side, the KG800 Chocolate is available in an unlocked version from several specialty online retailers. Your guess is as good as ours regarding if a GSM carrier will offer the KG800.
