Canon on Tuesday announced North American availability for its PowerShot S45, a high-end digital camera that captures images at resolutions of up to 4 megapixels. The S45 includes a 3x zoom lens, expanded capacity for capturing digital video and enhanced tools for setting exposure and focus. The camera is set to go on sale later this month, priced at $649.
